La empresa fue fundada en el año 1992, contando con una superficie de planta 5.000 m2 en un predio de 10.000 m2 con un plantel estable de 40 empleados. Nuestro objetivo primordial es el diseño, fabricación y montaje de plantas y equipos para la producción de alimentos balanceados, sales minerales y premezclas, acopio, acondicionamiento y mecanización de cereales y sub-productos.
Nuestros principales clientes son criadores de ganado bovino, porcino y ovino, avicultores, agricultores, acopiadores de cereales, feed lots, cooperativas e industria alimenticia en general.
En la actualidad PROFARMER S.A exporta productos a Uruguay, Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Paraguay, Chile, Perú, y está buscando fortalecer lazos con toda Centroamérica.

Los primeros pasos de PROFARMER fueron en un pequeño taller ubicado en la ciudad de Rafaela, provincia de Santa Fe, en el centro de la provincia y del país. Con el tiempo, la empresa se trasladó al primer parque industrial de la ciudad, estableciendo su primer galpón y oficinas.

Gracias al esfuerzo y dedicación, PROFARMER enfocó su fabricación en equipamiento para la elaboración de alimentos balanceados, ganando reconocimiento en el sector. Durante este período, logró sus primeras exportaciones y amplió su cartera de clientes en todo el país.

Defino a PROFARMER S.A como una empresa sería, que fabrica productos con un alto estándar de calidad y que cuenta con personal amable y siempre atento para brindarte y/o solucionarte cualquier duda o inconveniente. En nuestro caso nosotros compramos una Planta de Alimentos compacta de 3,5 Tn/h, la tenemos funcionando desde hace mucho tiempo y sigue marchando como un reloj. El cambio para nosotros al comprar esta Planta de Alimentos ha sido brutal ya que ahora podemos obtener un mejor producto que el anterior que teníamos y eso se refleja en la asimilación del alimento por parte de nuestro animales obteniendo lotes bien parejos y mayor peso a la venta; además de haber eliminado las horas/hombre ociosas que significaban un gasto para la empresa.

Sabíamos que entrar en un negocio nuevo nos implicaría ciertos costos de aprendizaje y por eso decidimos no hacer la planta de alimentos de entrada. Los márgenes todavía permitían algunas ineficiencias. Pasados dos años del start up, comenzamos con la elaboración propia de la totalidad de los kilos. Para ello confiamos en PROFARMER S.A para el diseño, ejecución y puesta en funcionamiento de maquinaria de última generación. La inversión nos permitió bajar un 20% el costo de producción, que fue indispensable para un comienzo de año complicado como el que tuvo que pasar el sector.

Comencé mi relación con PROFARMER en el año 1996, y desde entonces he mantenido una excelente relación con Sergio Lasino, Guillermo Turco y Ovidio Zimmermann (Socios de la firma). Hemos adquirido tres desactivadoras de soja, Planta elaboradora de alimento balanceado en harinas de 10 Tn/hora y todos los silos necesarios para el óptimo funcionamiento, considerando muy buena la relación precio/ calidad. Personalmente estoy muy satisfecho con los productos adquiridos y siempre que hemos tenido alguna consulta técnica nos han brindado su ayuda.
